Brandywine LaunchBox hosts inaugural LionCage Pitch Competition at Great Valley

The Brandywine LaunchBox partnered with the Great Valley LaunchBox and Chester County Economic Development Council’s Ideas x Innovation Network to deliver the LionCage Pitch Competition on Friday, Nov. 8, which supported entrepreneurs and innovators across southeastern Pennsylvania. Thirty teams — including two Penn State Brandywine students — pitched in five categories: New Startups, Penn State Students and Alumni, Social Impact Initiatives, Experienced Startups, and Young Entrepreneurs. Each category had one winner, who received $5,000, and one honorable mention, who received a plaque. In addition, one team received $10,000 for being “Best of Show.”
